High Wire Films/Electric Living Productions (Australia), twentysomething
High Wire Films/Electric Living Productions (Australia), twentysomething – season two, comedy series, leading actress (Jess Harris) and leading actor (Josh Schmidt). This caustically funny situation-comedy television series, which airs on ABC2 Australia, is about two best friends’ quest to stay young and have fun together. While their friends finish university degrees, climb the corporate ladder and settle down, Jess and Josh live for the weekend. When they find themselves unemployed, at the edge of eviction, they decide it’s time to become their own bosses. This six-part comedy/drama series sees Jess and Josh set out each week in search of their big break. An important aspect of the overall feel of twentysomething is the music. The soundtrack largely consists of local unsigned indie band and hence reflects the twentysomething lifestyle. This is original and entertaining television. LINK
